Doctoral Research

I am a PhD candidate in Media Art and Creative Technologies (MACT) in Riga, Latvia. My research focuses on the

use of emerging technologies to reimagine displacement and diaspora as both physical phenomena tied

to place and memory and as algorithmic manifestations caused by historic absences in the human

archive that result in digital displacement. My creative practice incorporates using my own data sets

of artistic production to train generative machine learning models (GenAI) and produce new works

reimagined from old, through human-computer creative collaboration (H3C).
